Fiat is giving you the chance to win a top-of-the-range car

What a brilliant way to hail 1,000 issues of Auto Express in print! To celebrate reaching this fantastic milestone, Fiat has offered us a superb new Bravo 150 Sport to give away.

It’s quite a prize, as the Fiat Bravo has been highly acclaimed by the media and drivers alike since its official launch in the UK last June. And it’s little wonder – with elegant and stylish looks, a powerful range of both petrol and diesel engines, and the perfect balance between performance and fuel economy, the Bravo range has something for everyone.

Cutting-edge engines, including a 1.4-litre petrol and 1.6 and 1.9-litre diesel units, combine with five or six-speed gearboxes to deliver an exciting and rewarding drive.

But experiencing a Fiat Bravo is not just about feeling the performance. The range leads the way in safety, and was awarded a maximum five stars in the tough Euro NCAP crash test programme. Achieving five stars for adult occupant safety, three stars for child protection and a further two for pedestrian protection, the new Fiat recorded 33 points out of a possible 37, placing it among the leaders in its category in terms of passive, active and preventive safety.

The list of standard safety equipment fitted to the Bravo range makes for impressive reading – ABS brakes with EBD, driver and passenger front and side airbags, window airbags on most models, and three-point Isofix child seat attachments are all included.

The new Bravo is more than just a speedy mover on the road – it was quick off the drawing board, too. The car was created in only 18 months from design sign-off to production.

To achieve this incredibly quick development time, Fiat employed groundbreaking new Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) systems of unprecedented power and complexity.
This allowed the development of the hatchback to be undertaken almost entirely through virtual analysis and engineering. The result is a car that benefits from these all-encompassing breakthroughs in virtual design and engineering. They are clearly evident in every aspect of the new Fiat Bravo, from consistently high build quality and class-leading passenger accommodation, to superior driving dynamics, minimal noise and vibration levels as well as outstanding safety.

Our superb prize Bravo is the 1.9 16v MultiJet 150 Sport, the top-of-the-range diesel-powered model which, at £15,995 on the road, offers excellent value for money. Included in its standard equipment is sport suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, a spoiler and side skirts, remote central locking, leather steering wheel and gearknob, electric door mirrors, cruise control and air-conditioning. Powered by a potent 150bhp 1,910cc common- rail turbodiesel engine, the Bravo 150 Sport races from 0-62mph in 9.0 seconds, and carries on to a maximum 130mph top speed.

It is Euro IV compliant for emissions and, despite impressive performance figures, returns 50.4 mpg on the combined cycle. So what are you waiting for? Answer the question below and the Bravo could be yours!
